The birth of leatherwork
The leather work production process is more focused than I imagined. Even when you have a semi-finished work, all you have to do is to complete the remaining coloring and sewing.
The coloring and sewing methods of leather are definitely different from the general watercolor and patchwork methods. At this time, I can deeply feel that I am creating a "leather" work.
After this course, it is also interesting to get in touch with areas other than flat painting. Experiencing unknown areas with a playful attitude can allow you to feel more different things.
Bracelet|Leather bracelet
The bracelet was originally supposed to have a light red tint in the middle, but accidentally it became magenta. But sometimes art is created by accident.
Key Case|leather key case
The second time I made a key cover, I used the masking tape technique and the sewing process. Although the masking tape was too sticky and the color became mottled, it also had a unique feel; sewing was also a big challenge, and it was different from the general sewing method of fabrics, but understanding the leather sewing method was also very healing.
Card Holder
In the bubble blowing technique, in order to blow beautiful bubbles, it is also a science to control the oil and shampoo properly.
Keychain
Compared to leather goods such as bracelets, key bags, and ticket holders, key chains are much simpler.
Wet the leather, write the words on it, and then punch a hole in it, leaving it for the button that will be used to fasten the key ring. Put the key ring into the leather, and the last step is to fasten the button and lock the key ring into the leather. The key ring is now complete.
*"17N9" is the homophone of "together for a long time", just like 520.*
Cable tie
Before making a cable tie, I learned a little about snap buttons. Remember to look carefully before knocking on the snap buttons, otherwise the cable tie will not buckle up if you knock on the wrong ones.
